Experience the Perfect Day
From the moment you wake up until you go to sleep, we have thought of everything that will make your day exceptional. Start out your day with either Nespresso or a cup of coffee on the patio. Cook breakfast in our fully-stocked kitchen. Sit down together with plentiful seating and plan out your activities. The beach is two blocks away and we have all the gear needed to enjoy your morning. Return for lunch, but not before taking a refreshing rinse in our outdoor shower to remove the sand. After lunch, relax in our rejuvenating hot tub! We have plenty of games for you to play with family. Alternatively, you can log in to our 65" smart TV and enjoy that movie that has been in on your watchlist for weeks. Before preparing dinner, use our fully stocked wetbar to fix up an early evening cocktail and Shirley Temple for the kids. After a delicious dinner, enjoy the early evening at the fire pit with S'mores for dessert. Don't forget to visit the front deck or walk down to the beach to experience a beautiful sunset over the water. You can do the same thing tomorrow, or consult our guestbook all the great activities nearby!

Do you offer early check-in or late check-out?
We do not usually offer early check-in or late check-out as our cleaning team performs a deep clean between every guest stay so that we can consistently offer you a 5 star vacation.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is 4pm and Check-out is 11am
What is the bedroom/bathroom layout?
Downstairs: 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Master bedroom has en suite master bathroom. The bunk room and “Nook” bedroom with queen bed share a full bathroom.
Upstairs: 1 bedroom, the “Loft” bedroom with queen bed. Full bathroom is directly next to the bedroom but not connected.
Do you provide beach equipment?
Yes! We provide beach chairs, beach blanket, 2 beach umbrellas, beach towels, and a cooler along with a cart to transport everything.
How far away is the beach?
The beach for Lake Michigan is a 5 minute walk (<0.2 miles) from the front door.
Can I drive on to the dunes from the property?
No, the only beach access is by foot. The off-road vehicle park is about a 10 minute drive away.
Do you provide bedding and basic amenities?
Yes, we provide bedding, towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and plenty of paper towels and toilet paper.
How many parking spots can you provide?
We have space for up to 6 vehicles. If you have a trailer with ATVs we can accommodate this as well.
Will your EV charger work for my vehicle?
Our EV charger is a Level 2 charger with a J1772 plug which is compatible with all US automakers but Tesla. However, each Tesla comes with an adaptor for the J1772 plug in the car’s charging kit.

We would like to personally welcome you to our family's vacation home. We both have very busy and sometimes high stress jobs and when we vacation with our family, we want to completely relax. We want to strengthen the connection with our kids and relatives. We want to extend the same experience that we seek for your vacation. We have thoughtfully provided every amenity that you could want and will give you an in depth virtual guidebook for the area to eliminate a lot of the planning and researching that can take up the quiet moments of your vacation.
My wife Hasina and I will be your hosts and are available to answer any questions you have prior to or during your stay at Luxe by the Lake.
